Haven Vesicovaginal Fistula Foundation is a 501(C)(3) organization and your gifts are tax deductible.
Haven Vesicovaginal Fistula Foundation (HVVFF), is an initiative focused on providing corrective surgeries, post-surgical treatment, Psychological counseling and other support services for women living in Africa that are affected by Vesicovaginal Fistula (VVF). At HVVFF, we provide these women with tools to deal with the VVF, which can eliminate or minimize some (if not all) negative effects associated with the condition. Reducing or eliminating these effects will improve these women’s lives.
Our goal is to progressively address many, if not all, issues surrounding VVF women in Africa. Some of our services include but are not limited to, enrolling such women in an empowerment program designed to teach skills for sustainable livelihoods and appropriate techniques after surgery and recovery.
Each woman is unique. This quality allows a woman to create and live by her own definition of beauty. Most, if not all, of us will agree the World is much better because women can control their own standards of purity and beauty.
Haven VVF Foundation was created to help women suffering from VVF in Africa. Haven VVF Foundation will provide assistance to all types of women suffering from VVF—old and young, educated and uneducated, and every other woman in between. Haven VVF Foundation will prevent cases of VVF from increasing in Africa by bringing awareness to the condition. And that is our promise!
To provide corrective surgeries, post-surgical treatments, and psychological counseling to victims of VVF.
To be a safe haven for victims of VVF.
To give victims of VVF a fresh start.
To ensure victims of VVF have access to corrective surgery, thus improving their physical and psychological health, which in turn enables them to reintegrate into society.
